一、教材分析 本模块教学以动物为话题,主要掌握关于动物的单词,谈论对动物的看法及原因。这个话题与学校课程有 关,贴近学生实际生活,而且问和答的句子都不长,容易上口。本单元教材特点是话题集中,句型不多,但生词量大。Unit1是本模块中的第一课。 本课出现了大量有关动物方面的词语和名词复数形式的变化。 二、教学目标 1.认知目标: (1)掌握句型:Look at the ... They’re cute /beautiful ... ——Why... ——Because... (2)描述动物,谈论对动物的看法及原因。 (3)认识可数名词的单复数形式。 2.技能目标:在创设的情景中,熟练运用句型进行模拟交际;从爱护动物的角度出发,能写出与此相关的短文。 3.情感目标:了解人类的好朋友——动物,通过生动的画面和逼真的声音,激发学生的学习兴趣和热爱野生动物和大自然的情感,增强环保意识;同时培养学生的参与意识与协作精神。 4.学习策略:培养学生在大信息量(许多的动物中)的语言活动中搜索语言信息,发现、归纳学习重点,从而掌握本课的重点学习内容。 三、教学重、难点 1.教学重点: 关于动物的单词、课文中相关的句型。 2.教学难点: (1)创设参观动物园的语言交际情景,操练所学句型。 (2)描述动物的特征,写出相关的短文。 【课堂实录】 1.环节一:课前热身,口语训练,加强复习,导入新课。 (1)课前唱歌热身。 T:Today so many teachers come to our class.Are you happy ? S:Yes. T: Me,too.Let’s welcome them and sing the song “IfYou Are Happy”with our action .(Ss stand up and sing together.) T:Good job! Sit down ,please. (师生问好后,伴着动作同唱英文歌曲“If You Are Happy ”.多媒体显示的是与本节新课有关活泼好动的卡通动物形象,目的在于激发学生的学习兴趣,创设良好的学习氛围。) (2)一分钟口语训练。 T:Well, let’s have a minute’s speaking as usual. Also four groups and look at which one is the best. Now who would like to come to the front?(Group1/2/3/4.) (Two Studentstell the time and count sentences.) T:At last ,look ,which group is the winner? S1:Where are you from? S2:I am from China. S1:What class are you in? S2:I’m in Class7,Grade 1. S1:What’s your favourite subject? S2:English. S1:Who is your favourite teacher ? S2:Miss Du. S1:What’s your telephone number? S2:123456. S1:Where is your English book ? S2:It is on my desk. S1:Is it your pen ? S2:No, it isn’t . It’s his . S1:Shall we go to the park ? S2:Ok, let’s go. ... Ss:Group 3 is winner . (第3组在一分钟之内说出来26组交际英语的句子,语音准确,语调流畅,句子简洁明了,赢得了班级其他同学和在场听课老师的赞誉,因此成为获胜组。) T:I agree.Well done .Congratulations to them .(Put up a smiling face on the blackboard.) And Group2 is the last. But it doesn’t matter .And I know you are all improving .You all try .Come on ! (分别找4组同学进行一分钟口语训练比赛,评出等级,及时评价,对获胜者表示祝贺,对名次稍落后的同学给予鼓励,目的在于提高学生的口语交际能力。) (3)加强复习。 T: Well ,do you remember what we learned last week ? Ss: Yes .Family.
