英语短文改错是高考中一个极为重要的题型，尽管该题近几年较为稳定，仍有一些同学对此类题不得要领，得分少得可怜。鉴于此，笔者结合2006年高考试题的阅卷情况，就短文改错中常见错误加以分析，并从中找出错误规律及做题技巧供考生参考。
一、迷阵大搜索
迷阵一：时态、语态方面的错误。主要为现在时态与过去时态，主动语态与被动语态之间的误用。
1．(2006全国卷I 76题) We had guests last night who have not stayed in a B&B hotel before．
2．(2006天津卷61题) I gained so much confidence that I go back to school.
【失分原因】 1．做题方法不科学，没有通读全文导致不能把握全文时态。2时态和语态知识不牢固，概念不明确，对被动语态的构成掌握不牢。3．没有理解或利用平行结构。
Keys：1．have改为had。2．go改为went。
迷阵二：主谓一致方面的错误。主要表现形式为动词是否需用“第三人称单数”形式。
1. （2008四川 85题）“I just want to know what the sign say.”
2. （2006安徽 77 题）Anyone can borrow books if he or she wish.
【失分原因】1. 主谓一致知识匮乏，需多练习。2. 粗心大意所致，不能精下心来逐行逐词扫描。
Keys: 1. say改为says。2. wish 改为wishes。
迷阵三：名词方面的错误。主要指名词的单复数问题，可数与不可数问题，名词所有格’s的位置问题，受不受形容词修饰语影响问题。
1．(2006全国卷I 83题) He had no ideas that the kitchen was not for guests．
2．(2006四川80题) In summer, the sea under the blue skies is even more beautiful．
【失分原因】1．对英语可数与不可数概念掌握不牢。2．存在误区，有些同学误认为，不可数名词只要带了形容词修饰语就变成了可数名词。3．对固定搭配掌握不牢。
keys：1．ideas改为idea。2．skies改为sky。
迷阵四：冠词方面的错误。主要指a(n)与the的误用，a与an的误用，可数单数名词前冠词的缺少问题，不需冠词的地方用了冠词的问题。
1．(2006全国卷I 76题)An American and a Frenchman decided to cross the sea between France and England in the balloon in 1784．
2．(2006天津卷62题) I went back to school as new person．My grades improved．
【失分原因】1．对冠词的用法不了解。2．对特指、泛指的概念不明确。3．缺乏这一重要知识：凡可数名词，如无特殊用法，其前一般要有冠词。
keys：1．the balloon改为a balloon。 2．as后加a。
迷阵五：非谓语动词使用方面的错误。主要考查方式为动名词与不定式之间的误用，现在分词与过去分词之间的误用。
1．(2006全国卷Ⅱ 78题)The air keeps the balloon up was escaping quickly and the balloon…
2．(2006天津卷65题)I just want to thank you for helping me becoming a different person.
【失分原因】1．对于哪些动词需接不定式，哪些动词需接动名词概念模糊。2．对于“to”是不定式的符号还是介词分不清。3．对于名词后是需要谓语还是需要分词作定语分不清。4．对介词后接动名词没有认识。
keys：I．keeps改为keeping。2．becoming改为become。
迷阵六：连词方面的错误。主要表现为“and，so，or，but”之间，“while”与“when”，“however”与“therefore”之间的误用。
1．(2006全国卷Ⅱ82题) It started to rise higher again．So it was still too close to the water．
2．(2006全国卷I 81题) I came into the living room and saw one of them just go through the kitchen door but turn on the light．
【失分原因】 1．上下文理解不透，没能理解是顺承关系还是转折关系，是因果关系还是让步关系。2．语法知识不牢。3．忽视了有些连词。4．对固定搭配、常用句型掌握不够。
Keys：1．So改为But。 2．but改为and。
迷阵七：形容词、副词方面的错误。表现为：误用了形容词修饰形容词，误用副词修饰名词，误用了形容词修饰动词，以及形容词副词的原级、比较级、最高级之间的误用。
1．(2006全国卷Ⅱ81题)The two men threw all their equipment into the water to make the balloon light．It started to rise．
2．(2006全国卷77题) Who had not stayed in a B&B hotel ago．
【失分原因】1．语法知识匮乏，不知道要用副词修饰形容词，不知道要用形容词修饰名词。2．对动词修饰语不清楚，误认为形容词可修饰动词。3．对常用系动词掌握不牢。
Keys：1．1ight改为lighter 2．ago改为before
迷阵八：介词方面的错误。介词使用比较复杂，有固定搭配方面的错误，也有介词运用方面的错误，也有应该用介词而漏掉的错误。
1．(2006全国卷Ⅱ84题) The crowd waiting for to greet them in England was very surprised．
2．(2006全国卷I 82题) He was looking for a glass the cupboard．
