4. Exercise can build your brain. 5. Exercise can make you fat. (C) Fun Games for Teens 玩咱自己的游戏 Want an “OK” from your parent when you start to miss your favourite on-line game? It’s difficult but possible(可能的) now. Last week, the China Youth Internet Association(中国青少年网络协会) said it would find more games for teens. It has made standards (标准) for computer games for different age groups. These standards are the first in China. “We hope the standards can tell students what games they can play,” said Shao Deliai, head of the association, “students can keep away from bad games.” Many people made the standards. They were policemen, game-makers and top game-players. The standards tell people which games are for juniors, seniors(高中生) and grown-ups. There are 11 standards. Some are for players and some for game-makers. The standards say games for juniors should be about good things. So next time you find a game with lots of fights (打斗) and bad words, ask your friends to keep away from them. Junior games may teach players more than those for grown-ups. It’s better for makers to use stories from history and geography in their games. This makes learning more fun. Junior games have rules (规定) for players. If you use bad words too many times, you may be out of the game. You can’t spend too much time playing games. The computer will stop the game when your time is up. Great, right? Your mum may even be happier than you. These standards aren’t ready yet. The association is asking for ideas from all gamelovers. Want to know more about the standards? Go to www. game315.com/yxfj. At this website you can also tell others how you feel about some games. If you have some good ideas for the standards, you can write to: game@swm.com.cn. 1.
